Thoughts From Thursday: Bruins Bounce Back And The Pats Trounce Indy

posted in: Bruins, Patriots 0

It was a successful day for Boston sports fans on Thursday as the Bruins rebounded from an opening night blowout to beat the Buffalo Sabres 4-0.  Jaroslav Halak got the start in net and pitched a shutout; do I smell a goalie controversy?  Also Brad Marchand had himself quite a night as he assisted on all four goals.  All in all the team did what it had to and came away with the points.

Meanwhile, in Foxborough…

Brady and friends came out firing, scoring on the opening drive of the game and never looking back.  Julian Edelman shook off the rust and made a noticeable impact on the team as a whole.  The team was far from perfect but the eye test shows that they are trending in the right direction.  With a few more weeks together and healthy I sense the offense will be a juggernaut going into the heart of the season.

Aaaanndd back to Boston…

Kyrie is coming back!
