Brady Leads Pats Over Rodgers, Packers…And The Red Sox Celebration Continues!

posted in: Patriots 0

In a much hyped battle between the two best QBs in the NFL today, Tom Brady outdueled Aaron Rodgers to guide the New England Patriots to a 31-17 win over the Green Bay Packers.  Neither quarterback had a particularly exceptional performance by their standards but Brady played good enough to win and Rodgers did not.  The Packers were plagued by critical penalties and an untimely fumble by Aaron Jones which ultimately led to their demise.  A lot of credit has to be given to the Patriots defense which many expected to get shredded in a high scoring affair.  Instead they held the Packers below their 25 PPG average and made big plays at big moments during the game to help the team come away with a W.  With the win the Patriots improve to 7-2 while the Packers fall to 3-4-1 in a season that seems to be slipping away from them.  Next up the Patriots will head to Nashville to take on the Mike Vrabel led Titans on Sunday.

Also during the Patriots game was the continued celebration of the 2018 World Series Champion Red Sox!  See the clip from the game below…
