Bruins Win!…Not So Much For The Celtics

Brad Marchand scored in overtime to lift the Bruins to a timely victory Monday night over the Dallas Stars 2-1.  David Pastrnak also scored in the game while Tuuka Rask got the win while allowing one goal.  This was a big win for the B’s over former young phenom Tyler Seguin and company.  They will next host the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday.

Meanwhile the Celtics dropped a road tilt in Denver 115-107 as Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray erupted for 48 points and also drew the ire from Kyrie Irving for a late three point attempt after the game was in hand.  The Celtics entered the game as the number one defense in the NBA but certainly didn’t play that way.  They haven’t looked like a cohesive unit so far this year and have a ways to go to look like a contender in the Eastern Conference.  They will travel to Phoenix for a Thursday night tilt with the Suns this week.
