Celtics Aim To Stop Two Game Skid Against The Western Conference Worst Phoenix Suns

The Celtics have lost two straight games and hope that the cellar dwelling Suns are just the recipe to get them back on the winning track.  They travel to Phoenix Thursday to face a team led by 2018 first overall pick DeAndre Ayton and young gunslinger Devin Booker.  Booker is certainly capable of putting the Suns on his back similar to what Jamaal Murray did on Monday night.  As a matter of fact he scored 70 points against these very Celtics in the 2016-2017 season, albeit in a losing effort at TD Garden.  With that being said Kyrie Irving has been on a roll as of late and while the C’s are not playing well I’d be very surprised if they lost to a bottom feeder like the Suns.  I expect a bounce back performance from Boston and look for Jayson Tatum to have a big game (he’s due).

Speaking of Devin Booker’s 70 point game last year, here are highlights from that game to get you Celtics fans reacclimated with the Suns’ guard…
