Coming off a rough 1-4 road trip the Celtics found that home cooking was the remedy they needed to break their losing streak. Home cooking and a juicy matchup with the cellar dwelling Chicago Bulls. The Celtics won easily, 111-82 and suddenly looked somewhat like the team everyone expected to see when the season started.
Jaylen Brown scored 18 points to lead six Celtics in double figures and no one on the Bulls had an answer for the team from Boston. The Celtics added 15 three pointers for good measure. Zach LaVine came into the game for Chicago as a top 5 scorer in the NBA but he only managed 10 against the Celtics’ tough defense. The Celtics hope to keep the momentum from this one going as they host a marquee game on Friday night against the Toronto Raptors.
