In one of the longest games in World Series history the Dodgers beat the Red Sox 3-2 in game 3 of the 2018 World Series. Max Muncy hit a walk off homerun in the bottom of the 18th inning off Nathan Eovaldi to breathe new life into this series. Eovaldi threw over 80 pitches in relief in what was shaping up to be a legendary performance but Muncy’s hit will be what’s remembered in this one. As the saying goes, tomorrow is another day…although this game went into Saturday so I guess we should be saying today is another day?? Regardless, let’s hope the Sox have a short memory and come on strong for game 4.
